In strict accordance with the diagnosis and treatment guidelines of the Chinese Clinical Cancer Society (CSCO), standardized surgery for gastrointestinal tumors is actively promoted and comprehensive treatment is emphasized.On the basis of the treatment concept of Peking University Cancer Hospital and Fudan University Cancer Hospital in Shanghai, the department standardized the standard D2 radical surgery for gastric cancer, That is, during the operation, not only the lesion was fully removed, but also the lymph nodes around the stomach were thoroughly dissected, greatly improve the effect of gastric cancer treatment and postoperative survival rate. At the same time, perioperative comprehensive treatment, minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal tumors, carbon nanoscale lymph node tracing technology in gastric cancer surgery, EMR/ESD endoscopic treatment for early gastric cancer, intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy and preoperative radiotherapy for rectal cancer have become routine treatment methods in the department.Neoadjuvant therapy for gastrointestinal neoplasms, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and other clinical new technologies are the features of the project. The department has 3D laparoscopy, high-definition fluorescence endoscope and other international cutting-edge equipment.The department carries out the fourth generation of Da Vinci robotic surgery.
